What are cookies?

A cookie is a tiny file that is saved by your browser when you visit a website. It enables certain information about your visit to be stored by the site.

Some of these cookies are essential in order for a website to run as you expect it to (for example, placing an item in a shopping basket) while others allow us to provide you with a better service (for example, remembering your username and password for you don’t have to retype it every time you visit).

How we use cookies

We use only essential cookies as follows:

  • to remember your username and password so you don’t have to type it each time you visit
  • to make our shopping cart function correctly so you can transact online
  • to run our website analytics tool so we know which content is most popular so we can tailor future content
  • to allow videos to play (via our third party provider Wistia)
  • to allow our LiveChat software to work so you can get live help and support
  • to allow Google Adwords to work correctly
